Filed an issue for that idea at https://github.com/systemed/iD/issues/1472- in the future, please file issues on GitHub rather than posting to the mailing list, so that they're seen and actionable by developers.
Re: relations. Do not conflate our current situation - open tickets and plans to improve relations editing, and scheduling time to get that work done, and so on - with 'ignoring'.
