For TB, yes, that works. I keep two copies of all applications
because not all of them work this way. Some applications install
OS-dependent files into the "\Program files\Common files" folder, so
if two systems share the same "\Program files" folder, there could
be troubles. Furthermore, I have a Chinese Win98 system, with some
Chinese applications that won't run in English environment. To
simplify system management and backup, I put two systems on two
partitions and two completely separate sets of applications.
