Perhaps that's the only solution they have to offer at this time. Why
run it anyway? Don't you have antivirus software installed on your
system?

It's really only myself and Marck who speak a lot against it
especially me. I've personally fallen victim to it and have since seen
many others have similar problems to the ones I had. All of us were
cured of our problems by uninstalling ZoneAlarm. What has made me
bitter is how long I and others blame everything else for the
problems.

I don't necessarily recommend against using ZA. The problems I had
seem to be confined to those using Windows 2000 SP1 or later. I really
don't know about XP. The problems seem to worsen with those who run
their machines with long uptimes. Not everyone has problems.

My only appeal is in the event of connectivity problems with TB!,
don't just look towards TB! as the cause of the problem, even if other
e-mail apps you have installed don't have the same problem. Check your
firewall, if you're running one. ZA is the one most commonly guilty
when the firewall is the cause behind TB! connectivity problems.

Please don't feel pressured into changing. It's up to you.
