-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi John,

Maybe if enough of us ST>> ask them, they'll give you the info. you need to do it? If anyone ST>> else is interested, let's get a campaign going. JT> To me, it makes more sense to allow the replacement of The Bat! JT> address book with my choice. I use Time & Chaos and would love TB JT> to use Time & Chaos's AB. Unfortunately, T&C is developing an JT> e-mail client, but I do not know how good it is. I like TB! There's something that everyone is missing. The underlying features of the address book beyond the holding of lists of email addresses. The raft of %ABnnnpppp macros. The filtering based on presence/lack of presence of addresses in certain groups. This stuff is immensely powerful and is entirely to do with the TB close integration with the address book. Stuff the street and phone information. Ignore it - I do. TB's address book is *so* well suited to its real purpose, but *not* to the general purpose address book that it appears to be on the surface. JT> It seems to me that if somebody builds a conduit between TB AB and JT> Palm, then we will still need a time planer, a to do list, JT> integration with M$ Word, a Pocket PC sync, a billing software, JT> etc. What has any of that functionality to do with an email address list? JT> Does it make sense to skip the conduit, develop a relationship JT> with T&C and/or others, and add an ability to hook into those JT> PIMs? Not to me! Why does an email client and an email address list need all of that data? - -- Cheers -- .\\arck D.
