Note that the Sun X4140 also has 8 disks, in a 1U chassis. And since it's an x86 processor, you have your choice of OSes to run, and RHEL is even one of the certified choices. Just sayin'. ;-) > We've found it easier to just standardize on HP's 2U box. There is a lot to be said for optimizing for ease of administration. In many shops, your most expensive component of your budget will be your people.
