One more thing, sorry for the additional post. I was wondering if there are 'network' version of Kill-a-Watt power monitors for anything like a reasonable price?
For an industrial level answer I think that APCC sells networked power strips so you can actually set up a server to monitor (and even power cycle) power to customer servers. That isn't cheap, but it might be the way to go. ...
