Page 67 of Don's last version of the MusiXTeX documention says that: \varline ... could be used ... to construct various obscure baroque ornaments...
It seems the slope of \varline is somewhat limited, in the same way as a beam slope, and this limits the possibilities of ornaments you can draw. Has anybody examples of nice ornaments made with \varline?
