Well, Marc, I fully agree. But, that won't happen until academia stops "selling," "promoting," and "advertising" a higher education simply as white collar vo-tech, higher paying job, credentialing.

My sense is that they do not and that for all of the current anti-corporate sentiment (e.g., OWS), the business path might be seen as a quicker, more efficient way to a comfortable and rewarding life. But, who knows?
