What is the exact model #? It may indeed be a beta or store unit unit with a different firmware chip that has been locked to that particular firmware, they did that for the SB3/Classic. Also the Radio had beta units originally that had to be returned & destroyed for the same reason. Using the internet radio portion means nothing as far as determining if it is beta or not, betas need to test such access & services. If it is truly a beta it is likely not usable.
On the other hand the 7.4 version may have simply been the factory firmware level going back two plus years now. Can you connect it directly to www.MySqueezeBox.com to attempt a firmware update? -- toby10 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ toby10's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=12553 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=90554 _______________________________________________ Touch mailing list Touch@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/touch
