I don't think any particular speakers are particularly good for the
Touch. It really depends on several things from my layman's
perspective:
1)Your music source: internet radio alone or always lossless files.
2)The genres of music you listens to
3)The room and space - and if it is house or apt.
4)The purpose of listening: background or critical listening
5)The receiver/amplifier
6)The budget

I have a very basic cheapo system that fit me - at least I hope so.
-Squeezebox Touch 265 $ + 25 $ restocking fee of the Radio
-WD 2TB hard drive 89$
-Sony STR-DH100 stereo - with shift between sources and A/B speakers
148 $
-Polk M10 for my desk - computer and Touch 68 $/pair
-Polk Monitor50 for a small open area 160 $/pair
-50 feet 14 gauge speaker wire 15 $
+ tax
All were on sale in Canada when I bought them except the wire from
Walmart.

I am a non-audiophile with neither money nor discriminating ears. I
mostly listen to classical and vocal jazz. Small apt setting. The Touch
ended up to be the most expensive component in this duel system. Many
people say speakers should be the biggest investment.

I am happy I learned a lot about speakers and other components while
researching/trying to balance decent sounds and the bill. Speakers are
durable products with huge "profit" as no one needs to buy them often -
actually I should the raw cost of building them is very cheap. My target
was new retired or retiring models with excellent reviews on my need.
They are often on sale and of good quality. One can't audit these
speakers as they are usually sold online for best price. But I told
myself speakers sounded very different in the stores anyways. This is a
poor man's 2 cents.
