I use the Adam A5 speakers connected to a TOUCH in a room that is about
24' x 18' and they work very well and are plenty loud. Volume is set
(fairly low) on Adam's and I use Touch digital volume control (keeping
it at about 80% or more). I used to use audioengine A5s and they were
good, but the ADAMs are a step up. In my office, I use audioengine A2s,
and they are also quite good for small desktop speakers. I keep these
turned down fairly low, and they would certainly fill the room (maybe 15
x 12) with no issue (if I wanted, which I usually don't, given it is at
work!)
