Hey Ralph, I'm using the Audioengine 5+ Premium Powered Bookshelf Speakers. Setup is iMac USB to Schliit Modi USB ASYNC DAC | AKM4396 D/A | ACTIVE FILTER STAGE to Audioengine 5+ using RCA. The 5+ speakers have a volume control on the front of one speaker.
