I've used the Touch with several different powered computer speakers, but my favorites are the M-Audio BX-8. I've also got a touch with a set of M-audio BX-5. The M-Audio are bass head speakers - not the most neutral in the world, but perfect for what I listen to on those systems. In both cases I've set the speakers' volume level to about 3/4 of max, and use the Touch volume controls for changing volume.
