Logitech Media Server (LMS) is the program running on your computer that manages your music collection, feeds music to the TOUCH, etc. Can't help on the drivers issue. p.s. You're admittedly not computer savvy but yet you are trying to use the TOUCH in a way it wasn't designed for, using aftermarket software applications, and a "home made" specialty DAC that may require special drivers. Seems as if you'd have been much better off with a good DAC with S/PDIF coax connector. Plug in to Touch and play....none of this futzzing around. Anyhow, just a thought.
