Indeed - this is very useful -- and possible in trac: http://trac-hacks.org/wiki/WikiNotificationPlugin http://trac-hacks.org/wiki/AnnouncerPlugin However - it's not enabled on trac.edgewall.org ? Some of these features run parallel to how the all-new google wave works: http://wave.google.com/ Personally I'm not convinced mega jabber server clusters is a viable (or even desirable) alternative to the "web browse + email announce"-architecture -- but there is always room for improvements and new/refined ideas. Is the reason WikiNotificationPlugin isn't installed on t.e.o lack of a email validation feature (ie: risk of being abused for spamming) ? Best regards, - -- .---.
