DAVEH: Dean, I admit to sometimes joshing you a bit. Seems like after all you've done for/to me, I should take a pot shot at you now and then. If you are offended, let me know and I'll try to tone it down a bit. > In case you haven't > noticed he has been mocking me for days now with his anger DAVEH: 'Anger'???.......I don't think you know me very well, Dean. I have a very tolerant attitude and am very slow to anger. > remarks-and he > even spoke against the Holy Spirit of God and that seems to be ignored DAVEH: I'm not ignoring it.....I've just been a bit too busy to respond to every post. I hope to respond to your wounded psyche as I get a chance. I'd do it now, except I'm out of town and it resides on my home computer. > -but > we are seen as wrong to expose those thing that a cult DAVEH: Nobody thinks you are wrong for exposing what you think is wrong, Dean. What seems to bother a lot of folks is the manner in which you do your exposing. I would ask you who you are intending to educate......the Mormons or the non Mormons? Mocking our sacred edifices, doctrines, beliefs and clothing does little to endure LDS folks to your cause. I'm not sure it endures anybody else to your cause either.....except perhaps other wackos. > -that claims the name > of Jesus Christ-uses to dishonor the very teaching of Christ himself. > Sister I suggest you beware of seducing spirits from this reprobate. DAVEH: When somebody asks me a question about my beliefs, I feel compelled to answer. Is that a problem, Dean? Isn't that the purpose of TT? Or....did you think TT is a place that is only for Christians to convert others to their belief realm? > Now consider the words of > Jesus Himself Matt.12:30 > He that is not with me is against me,and he that gathereth not with me > scattereth abroad. > Simple the Esau spirit that DaveH enjoys is seeking to scatter abroad-who > is he seeking to scatter-you- and anybody else foolish enough to listen to > him on this site. DAVEH: Whether my opinions and beliefs are right or wrong, is it not permissible for me to express them on TT, Dean? Is this meant to be a one sided forum, or are all welcome despite their differing perspectives??? > > Spiritual warfare happens in prayer as we take authority over > > religious principalities and powers and wicked spirits along > > with the assignments they have been given. > > Why not just pray for the Satan then and end the entire struggle? DAVEH: Is that a problem for you, Dean? Despite some (well....a lot) feelings of animosity towards me and my beliefs from some TTers, I do feel comfortable here. That is not to say I enjoy hearing the way you and a few others speak about me or my religion, but I think I understand where you are coming from Dean, and I keep that in mind when you unleash your venom on me. First let me say Dean, I am not offended by you or other TTers despite your dislike for me. I do not hate or despise you. But I do find you 'interesting', and perhaps that is one thing that I like about TT. It gives me (a narrow minded Mormon boy) a chance to rub shoulders with folks who are on the far end of the spectrum. Where else would I get to 'enjoy' such exchanges?!?!?!?! Yeah.....I know, I could go to SLC at Conference time, but then I would only get to talk to you for a few days or so. On TT I get the full treatment all year long! :-) Anyway, I'm not sure why my membership in TT bothers you (and perhaps others) so much. I was invited to TT by DavidM, and I was under the impression that it was pretty much an open forum that did not try to exclude anybody merely because of his beliefs. While I didn't expect the red carpet to be laid out for LDS folks, I sure didn't expect that a lot of TTers would prefer I not be here. If you folks want to change the nature of TT and make it a closed list for non LDS Christians only, that is OK with me. I'll pack my bags and leave if so invited. But I've never had the feeling that I shouldn't be here. (As somebody mused awhile back, perhaps God wants me here!) I think we can safely say that you aren't God, Dean! <VBG> But why do you feel you are getting the short end of the stick, Dean? We all play by the same rules here. You (and others) have tried hard to convert me to your theological leanings, and I in return have tried my best not to evangelize in TT. As I understand the rules, it would be OK to do so, but I simply don't feel compelled to do so. Furthermore, I'm not here to push Mormonism on anybody. I feel it is not my home field, and I am a guest who should mind my manners. I try to avoid offending, and do my best to turn the other cheek when necessary. Yet you seem to think everybody is favoring me, at your expense. May I suggest that perhaps you are taking TT a bit too seriously, Dean? Can't we both reside here in peace and brotherly love? That doesn't mean we can't toss a few barbs at each other occasionally, and perhaps joke around a bit. But do we have to go at each other's throats until one of us (probably you) gets mad and leaves? Is that what you really want? Wouldn't it just be a better forum if you occasionally remind other TTers how evil I (and other Mormons) are so that none will fall into our traps, and then sit back and enjoy TT for what it is.....a place where folks of dissimilar beliefs and backgrounds can relax and chat a bit? Is that a problem for you, Dean? If I can't persuade you to lighten up a bit, is there anything I can do that would appease you? And no....I'm not referring to jumping the LDS ship, or leaving TT. But if you would prefer I simply refrain from posting comments directed at you, I could accommodate you on that. Or perhaps you have some other ideas??? What say ye, Dean? Can we kiss and make up?!?!?!?! > Seducing Spirits are named and warned against for a > reason. Before when we had this debate I was rejected by the group on this > list and DaveH/Esau was loved DAVEH: Don't flatter yourself, Dean. You 'rejected' yourself, IMO. And, I don't quite know who you think on TT loves this Mormon boy. I think there are some who tolerate me, but I doubt I'll be getting many invitations to Christmas dinner! Heck (hope you don't mind me swearing a bit here)......I can't even count on Brother Glenn sending me a Christmas card! <VBG> > -DaveH has tried to anger me again soas I will > say something hard towards him to get symphony from this list-just like any > other reprobate-use people to get gain. Interesting huh? Love the sinner DAVEH: Would that be all that bad...... > and hate the Brother in Christ-those seducing spirits will get you every > time if one opens the door for them. DAVEH: I suspect the TT door is open to even the devil himself. (Am I wrong about that, DavidM?) Now don't get me wrong Dean.......I am in no way suggesting that I am the devil, or even one of his henchmen, despite what many TTers feel about me. Look at it another way, Dean. What if Jesus himself joined TT. How do you suppose he would be treated if he used a pen name while posting here? > Hopes this helps sister.
