Hi David,

Remember my post from a few days ago regarding your 'debate tactics'? Here
you see them in slow motion. First the cop-out line. I have sent more
posts in this thread than any other; hardly a cop-out. Then the get a point
of agreement and wham hit with the unanswerable challenge. I may not be
wise but I am smart.

You are going on about your own pet theory of Wesleyan
sanctification/perfection. I don't mind discussing it but far more
important issues on the definition of sin are going on. I would hate to get
sidetracked and have people miss the meat. When you asked me to consider
taking the moderator position you requested that I attempt to bring serious
discussion back to this forum. I am doing the best I can.

Jonathan

Aw, shucks, what a cop-out. Your answer to this question is very central to

this thread. You read the passage, you interpreted it properly in
concluding that the parents of John the Baptist were keeping the Torah
blamelessly, but now you don't want to make any kind of general statement
from this specific observation? Inquiring minds want to know. Do you think

what Zachariah and Elizabeth achieved in keeping the law was just a fluke,
or were they just one example among others of those who pleased God through
obeying the law?

Peace be with you.
David Miller.
