Having those would really be nice indeed. But both have troublesome licensing issues, which is a major show stopper since the distro would become break the law. The video world is very difficult in linux because of all the patenting and property behind all major codecs, a great example is the dv format video cams use, and the weird avi license issues. vst is property of steinbeck and they don't allow much distribution either. maybe this things will become more open eventually, at least I hope so.
