I think also we have a list of different bugs here. I'm on a standard Precise 32 bit: symptoms are lockup of X. Can ssh in from another computer.
I followed one of the suggestions here to reset the Unity settings. Back to default, and then simply re-entered the settings I would like to have. System has been stable for a few hours now (usually it would lockup every hour).
