I think we finally have this solved! I installed Nvidia driver 304.37 using this: http://ppa.launchpad.net/xorg-edgers/ppa/ubuntu not wanting to take a chance on a manual install with my kernel upgrade. (3.4) Kudos to the Nvidia team for staying with this. I spent maybe 1 1/2 hours watching Youtube videos-mostly from the Slingshot Channel which I enjoy greatly and are available in full (1080) HD. No logouts-no problems so far. Details @ post #60.
