I've been using the workaround of running in 2d mode since I first encountered the random log off bug when 12.04 first came out (I subbed to this bug 2012-06-08 13:23:32). Since then, even with heavy daily use (8 hours+) I haven't had a single random logout... until today, just now. I presume something to do with some of today's updates.
As I said, this has been working fine for me, so I hadn't tried any of the driver fixes, but I thought it worth mentioning this. I'll try the driver upgrade now. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to nvidia-graphics-drivers in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/973096 Title: Nvidia driver causes xorg crash To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/nvidia-drivers-ubuntu/+bug/973096/+subscriptions _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
