Yes, this is a good example. You somehow recognize what the correct character would be, and if you see this repeatedly in a longer text, you get an impression between silliness and incompetence independent of the actual content of that text. I know this feeling from texts which continuously use a Greek beta (β) instead of an German sharp s (ß). - Karl
