it chocking on subdir's full of largish files. I wonder if OS X is not
having problems with negotiating the network link with a server and not
being able to recover or pick up where a brake has occurred?

*** I wonder how X server handles this problem with OS X clients? Maybe OS X
works better with another OS X as a server? Would it be a built in bug to
help X server sales? ;-)

Anyway, FTP works OK but it's not as practical as the Finder. Would be nice
if Panther (due in june) could address these issues.

I'll be setting up an old PM as a server so I'll keep you updated about my
findings...
