ppc OS X is too limited by the number of machines it can come near.

And I see it as a big step backward. I'm just happy that the world is thrilled by an OS whoze guts come from the late 60s and early 70s. Why are they thrilled? Because the previous OS was based on techniques that a HS student could implement.

And now we get a processor architecture whose guts are from the late
70's to match.  The whole Intel move is a huge mistake.  The best move
would be a unique dual platform move with PPC for the desktop and Intel
for the laptop market.  Apple is just about the only vendor who could
pull this off too.  4 general purpose registers and a BIOS... vomit!
