PsPad is where I saw it. It's a good editor, but Geany is cross-platform
and so far I've tended to like Scintilla-based editors better than
Synedit. But it's a good product, too. Free, but not FOSS.
If I was on Linux (like I was years ago) I'd probably write a bunch of
shell scripts for "Send selection to terminal" but here on Windows
that's not nearly as easy.
