Yes, that is the page-oriented approach that several posters to this thread have described - with or without a Page style. The point of this sub-thread is to use the "Watermark" Frame style - a very different prospect. Obviously neither is a really good substitute for a word processor's watermark function, but to reiterate: the point of this sub-thread was to determine whether Writer's Watermark frame is of serious value.
