I realize that is what happening. What I don't understand is why it
should happen. Why shouldn't "Reply all" really do a a reply to ALL? Why
does Thunderbird think that even though I chose Reply all, I really
didn't want my reply going to all?
You can configure your email client to set a reply to address, if you
want replies to go to other than the address used to create the message,
as I have often done, when sending personal emails from my work
computer. Would you want any email client to ignore your wishes? In
this case it is the list that is creating the reply to address. How is
an email app to know the difference and then send a message that to an
address that it's not otherwise supposed to?
