Hi haven't been following this list for a few years. Got back on it here today to do a search for an answer to a regex question and saw this thread and thought I'd reply:
I'm a sales contractor for Broadweave. For places that already have the fiber portal (a box about 2 feet tall and 1 feet wide in either a garage or a room/closet somewhere inside the residence) here are some new Internet only prices if you're looking to pinch some coin pennies or cash dollars more like it: 3 mbps / 1 mbps @ 24.99 6 mbps / 1 mbps @ 34.99 15 mbps / 5 mbps @ 44.99 30 mbps / 5 mbps @ 69.99 These are all month-to-month prices, no contract required and no setup fee. Add a 2.99 gateway fee on top and that's your total; no taxes. For discounts, you can get 5% off on a 1 yr. and 10% off on a 2 yr. anyway, just trying to get more places signed back up where the previous owner or tenants were using iProvo and the new tenants are not. I think that Broadweave is going to pull it out even though it seems scary to the general public right now because of the bond security fund being used to make the monthly bond payments. I've been with them since October and management has been streamlining things since then as others have testified to above. I hope to be working here through at least the next school year. Call, text, or email if you have any other questions. I'm not your average sales guy -- did web development for a decade before taking a break from sitting at the computer all day long (had tendonitis problems) -- so doing this sales job for now. Will be back to school full-time this fall after a long hiatus. :) Thanks, Roger Brown 801-356-1032 [email protected] -------------------- BYU Unix Users Group http://uug.byu.edu/ The opinions expressed in this message are the responsibility of their author.
