Sometimes I have that kind of doubts too -- in Mozilla browsers (such as Firefox and SeaMonkey), Ctrl-Shift-R reloads the current page, disregarding the cache (just Ctrl-R or View=>Reload doesn't always invalidate the cache). I've found that command helpful in that kind of situations.
