My primary purpose in writing this post is to inquire whether it is possible for Apple to remotely check the status of my iPhone 6 which is running IOS 11.4.1.

No one is around to check the screen, and I can't unlock the phone since there is no audible feedback. Will try later today by connecting to iTunes.

Symptoms are as follows: Voiceover does not speak even though I asked Siri to turn it on. When I press the home button, I feel the vibration but hear no ding. I cannot make outgoing phone calls; however, if I call my iPhone, I hear the chime and voiceover announces the name of the caller which is in my contact list. So I know it is not a volume issue. The phone continues to ring even though I use a two finger double tap on the screen. Is the speech toggle a three finger double tap?

Thanks for feedback.
