My first impression is that these tracks are the result of a grain of grit being scraped across the plate. My second impression is that they are helical track caused by a charged particle in a magnetic field. Assuming for the moment that they are real tracks, then the assumption that all the energy of the particle is kinetic may not be valid. If they have rotational energy as well, then the energy/momentum calculation could be off, and consequently the conclusion that they are superluminal could be wrong. The energy value they come up with is 4.5E14 eV, which is a lot more than 64 GeV (i.e. it's 450000 GeV). Regards, Robin van Spaandonk http://rvanspaa.freehostia.com/project.html
