Nice! The tricky bit will be to find through which path the current coming through the sig gen's single (hot) wire returns to the sig gen's ground. Do we have an oscillogram showing both the sig gen's voltage and the current through its hot wire? This might allow to find the power delivered by the sig gen. What's the shape of the signal BTW, sine, square, triangle?
