Maybe you should read his web pages, he does say no generator is used in his
#7 free standing unit. It is in plain English.

In that video, no generator was used except for startup, but apparently it was NOT turned off, so the objection from the assorted kibitzers was that significant power from it was being coupled through the ground connection.

Possible ? yes - it is likely that some remnant signal could be coupled but not significant power IMHO. I think the signal is being coupled through the open ended wires, rather than ground but anyway it is only signal (no more than 50 milliwatts when the connection is direct and much less otherwise) - not major a power source.

AFAIK he has not denied that he needs to leave the sig gen running in the same room, so it is probably true that some kind of timing source is required for extended operation.

The question then for the skeptics- is how can a milliwatt timing source be boosted to watt level?

Unlike Horace, who apparently thinks this kind of coupling can supply watt-level power (in the case of the 150 LEDs), Stiffler does not agree.

He has never said that he could dispense with both the ground and the signal. AFAIK the circuit will loose resonance soon after a timing method of some kind is lost. The ground can be supplying a timing signal since the sig gen is still on, but not significant power. That is the crux of the argument.

But the important thing for the future is being totally overlooked here- that being: if there is a significant anomaly in lumens-out vs. milliwatts-in - and that is the present indication --- then sooner or later, he will close the loop with an efficient photocell.

It is useless to argue this further - and against the surprising level of skepticism seen here - actions will speak much louder than words and to say more until this loop-closing is accomplished is wasted effort...

... but IMO - folks who have languished here on Vortex for years hoping for some glimmer of the "promised land" of ZPE coherence may be missing the boat...

The situation with the possible cooling effect is also indicative of this for me - but if you read Horace's post you will see a substantial difference of opinion on the cooling.
