And within a few months the worth of their investment is halved. On the Amiga I guess 
it a few years....

There is always the doubt - is it really the right place to invest my money. I think 
ahead - what will this Amiga hardware I'm going to buy be worth in a year? I don't 
know, but it will be a lot more than similar pc-hardware - it is worth allmost nothing.

People tend to compare crappy-dirt-cheap-pc-hardware with quality Amiga hardware. Try 
compare with quality pc hardware - the price difference isn't THAT big.

The cheap software compensate the expensive hardware, the Amiga is probably the 
cheapest computer to use. On the PC allmost any little crappy util is shareware. 
Commercial programs on the PC most likely cost 2-10 times more - and that at a much 
higher production volume.
