Voyager is no different than Netscape and Explorer when it comes to TrueType
fonts. Aside from installing TT fonts, all one has to do in Voyager is set
up the Template font setting. V will then use those point settings for ANY
TTF - there is no need to create a different Font setting for each and
every TT font in V.

Yes, they are called TrueType fonts and they are readily available from
Microsoft (or from Matt's tutorial page). TTFLibrary is a set of programs
that enables a user to utilize TrueType fonts on their Amiga. We are using
the same TrueType font files that Windows users are using. Also keep in
mind that TrueType fonts do not have sizes; they are fully scaleable.

That assumes that one uses a constant screenmode. Different programs may use
different screen resolutions on the same system. What then? Also, the
TrueType font files are constantly being upgraded. The installer script may
have to be upgraded and/or expanded to keep track of different font
versions. The installer script itself could become unwieldly.

An installer script is not necessary since ttfmanager has an Install All
option. That said, ttfmanager requires a few improvements such as being
able to globally set the Metric Source, since apparently setting the Metric
Source for one font does not carry forward to the remainging fonts - at
least that is what I understand from Matt's tutorial, so I could be wrong.
Essentially, there is no need to reinvent the wheel when a few improvements
here and there are all that are required.

Anyways, one could always load the appropriate .font and .otag files to a
website or Aminet for others to access. No guarantee that the fonts will
look nice on someone elses system.
