Below is my reply to Stephen's email on webdevcoop list that (apparently) has been eaten by the internet goblin:
Hi Stephen, et al., I agree that we need to decide what the site will be like, etc. Perhaps that is more in Dave's department seeing as he is our fearless leader. Once you development guys have an idea of what the site will be like, us designers can have the contest. I suggest a brain storming session where everyone submits ideas. Label your subject: "idea" followed with a *descriptive* title. Let's get everything on the table first, then it can be sorted. Also, a mission statement of what the list/site is for and is not for would be great. Anyone agree? So how do we start off with planning? Seems to me that we should assess what needs to be done first. Are we going to develop the site and its resources first or what? Any consensus on languages used? Designers want to start a dialogue about organizing the design contest that was discussed? thoughts? -Stephen http://www.mechavox.com/ ____ • The WDVL Discussion List from WDVL.COM • ____ To Join wdvltalk, Send An Email To: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Send Your Posts To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To set a personal password send an email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the words: "set WDVLTALK pw=yourpassword" in the body of the email.
