mike.. thank you..i do not intend to offend.. it's just that joe keeps harping on about me having to go to group zenfests.. i have no opportunity to do that from where i live...high up on a mountain top.. so he makes me feel small and inadequate... i have to defend myself surely.?. i am not a duck that the water falls off my back so to speak...it sinks in... so i am not "attacking" anyone about their need for group zenfests... one can meditate in a forest, in the train, etc etc... it's not the place...it's the destination..... so please accept apologies.. there was a bit of poetical license with the language... i like the musty dark halls, the handwoven mats, the soft silky cushions, the wolf spiders lurking in the corners the ruby cheek monks and the diamond lady... all in the name of fun... take it easy mike.. relax.. chill out and grab a bit of cool jazz... all the best.. merle
Merle, Joe, Musty or airy. Silk hand-woven cushion or zafu - it doesn't matter. A person who meditates and understands why we do will have no aversion to either. Merle, by showing your contempt to those of us who do sit in such places, you also expose to us the need for you to do so, too.
