There is another problem with RFSM8000 which I hope the author will correct. It seems impossible to start a subject with //MARS R to send an email message to winlink.org to a MARS account. MARS winlink accounts do not have functional whitelists, and all messages must have a subject starting

One obvious choice for pushing messages to the field would be multicast ( on any band, depending on the range you are after, etc.. ) One transmitter pushes the data to an unlimited number of recipients, who all get it at the same time. No point-to-point system can compete with it, multicast is
