What do you see as double standards, Martin?
I've always held a strong view on freedom of speech and will defends
people's right to it but some people clearly think they "own" the moral
high-ground and "know" what's good for us.
I don't expect everyone to agree with it but there's no way I'd ever
support anything like censorship. Check my posts, I never actually said
I thought it was funny but I do believe that most people don't know
that the bitch reference also means record.
I enjoy and listen to booty, but there's no getting away from the fact
that some of it is pretty misogynistic and has some sick violent
fanstasies in it - we find these amusing and I am interested in why
some people find such 'sickness' amusing.
I don't think anyone on the list was proposing to censor booty, they
just ventured a distaste for some of its lyrics.
Clearly some are, or at the very least using wide News Of The World
brush strokes - not all booty is about smacking a bitch up nor is all
dance-hall about burning gays.
