Calling names is rather childish idn't it??
However, I claim NO "political correctness" in favor of the truth, b'sides,
I'm not running for any public office. Politicians will ALWAYS be greedy
bastards, and the majority of nouveau industry journalists suck the d**k of
any label that is advertising in their increasingly boring and trivial rags,
seeking to simply validate their existence by slicing and dicing the music
into piles and categories until all that is left is a heap of split
hairs.....no soul...less verity.
I call it like I see it. I remember when music journalist took chances
calling tripe music...exactly that..tripe. Brittany Spears is a product
whose popularity is bought and paid for and then VALIDATED in the
music/trade press. Just once I'd love to see someone tell the truth...like
the fact that she lipsyncs about 80% of her 'live' shows, or that some of
the British dance acts/bands that have been sooo popularized here in the
states, are a bunch of talentless, knob-twiddling goons with no musicianship
OR song-writing skills and very slick marketing $$ validating their
existence.
These opinions are examples of long-studied, first-hand observations.
Sorry if the chosen language offends, however I like to hang with the
alpha/leaders of any given species and that takes gonads, pure and simple.
I don't find too many journalists or major label industry types pushing ANY
envelopes/limits for fear of losing their jobs and then "superstar" type
acclaim and power.
