when i last did a check of CRT/LCD's i found that LCD's were cheaper
(generally), but sucked at resolutions higher than 1280x1024, except for a few,
which were (generally) more expensive.
if 1280x1024 is good 4 u, or u need more desk space, i'd go LCD
if u need more viewing space, or use your computer monitor to preview most of
your footage, u may wanna stick to CRT.
...currently i'm using an NEC FP2141 (not the greatest monitor, but offers 85hz
refresh at 1920x1440x32bit... and (specifically) has the weight of a baby
elephant... get a crane to put it on your table)
later

Subject: [AP] CRT vs LCD Monitor
My 21" CRT Monitor has died and I am borrowing another monitor that is on the
verge of quitting so I must buy another one ASAP. What is your general opinion
of CRT vs LCD Monitors? I'm looking at a 19" CRT vs a 17 or maybe 19" LCD? I
have 3 videos that I am currently working on, so I have to get a monitor today
or tomorrow.
Thanks so much for your input!
Michelle
