I can read a license plate on any camera depending on the location and configuration.
To say the UBNT product is not a professional product is both naive and simply an opinion. Just because you cannot use a third party product with it doesn't mean it's not a professional product. And I'll bet UBNT has a camera in the works with tilt, pan and zoom. UBNT was designed to be simple to install and quick to deploy. It was also designed to just work. Their cameras are by far the best cameras and NVR I've been able to find on the market. Nothing else I've found is as seamless. I don't know why you would want a 3rd party camera with it to be honest. Their cameras are really good. I'm not saying that UBNT is the best in every environment, but they are for most in my opinion.
