As of May this year, Apple phones were 23% of the market according to what I’ve 
read .. it dropped slightly.

Almost 70% were Android powered phones ….

I’ve had both phones in the past couple of years … Samsung S6, S6 Edge, S7 and 
Apple 6, and 6 Plus.  The only phones I haven’t had any weird issues with were 
Apple …. I’m not a fan of Android personally.

As Travis mentioned, everyone has a preference and choose different devices - 
I’ll also take a Mac any day over a PC and I own several of both …   I also 
*really* like the Apple ecosystem where my iPads, iPhones, Mac’s all interfact 
with one another (and including my Apple TV units) - I have the same photos, 
files, passwords, usernames, etc on all devices securely synchronized.
