------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Fri Apr 4 15:48:41 +0000 2008 ------- I think I've given enough justification, from competitive analysis point of view and logistical point of view. I think it all comes down to personal preference at this point. mba, you obviously like the gray save icon behavior, so it pmike. But there is also silent many users who dislike this behavior. And this is not just for Calc's issue it applies equally to the other applications as well. You mentioned the past OOo and SO users. There is also a giant pool of migrant users from the other office suits who find this confusing. So, while the need to satisfy the existing users is granted, please don't see that as the only group of people whom we need to satisfy. So, at this point I would opt for providing an option for this. But reverting to the old behavior just because of the existing users is to me missing the big picture. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
