FYI I do have the original and official DB50XG user manual, which is also
available on the web in pdf format. All the supported XG spec is in there
(although in hex codes) It all boils down to a bunch of sysex'es and
NRPN's.

The tricky part is that these kind stuff is write-only. You cannot query
what's the current value of a parameter or something. You just dump in a
whole batch of parameters and, with any luck, you ear what you think you
want :)

OK. I've already the Terratec SiXPack 5.1+ box on my shelf now. It will
take some time to put it to work however, as one of my spare motherboards
is on the soldering-iron queue. Isn't it ironic, or what?

In a week or so I get this stuff back on tracks.
