Speaking to many users and seeing what they want from their perspective so SlideME can accommodate, seems the most tend to express some disappointed with the quality of apps in comparison to the cost of the app. My personal suggestion will be allow some breathing space for this industry to grow by not charging too much for the apps, maybe less than average of what you would expect. Possibly formulate the upgrade path costs to eventually earn what you may have initially desired (stretch it over a longer period). This way you loyal customers will indeed upgrade providing you are building a quality app for them. This will also raise the quality bar across all apps if developers opted for such a strategy.
