**
Note that sometimes applications can have problems determining free space
when you use a?non-preallocated?virtual?disk in VM.

If you are using such a disk, you might want to try the option to
"pre_allocate space" on your virtual disk.

  Hi Jason,

I got a bit different environment, that is the server is running under VM
instead of phsyical, and is not belong to any domain yet. It is running
  under a workgroup.
Which I was using is ?local administrator through the remote desktop
  section.

Seems to be I have to try for more case.

  Thanks for your help

** Sounds pretty much like what we did.? I don't remember having to run
  the
installer in compatibility mode but it may be worth a try.

Are you logged into the server as a local admin?? Now that I think about
  it
I was logged in as a domain admin.? A local admin should be sufficient
  but
maybe using a domain admin has given me a little extra something that has
helped to avoid this issue (which seems to fairly common).

Do you have DEP turned off?? I wouldn't think that is the issue but maybe
some part of the installer is trying to execute from a data area of
  memory.

The only other thing I can think of would be does one of the directories
involved have the Read Only flag set (assuming sufficient permissions)?

  ?Hi Jason,

?I think I do it ?similiar, that is I extract the installation files to
?C:/temp directory, and then install it from there.
?I have the C: drive with over 30G space avail, and also D: drive with
  ?100G
  ?avail.
?I try to specify the install directory to both drive, but with no luck
  on
?success. Always get a error message on "Having 0MB space available for
  ?installation".

  ?** Hi Michael,

?Just to clarify... when you say you use the local disk, does that mean
  ?you
?copied the install to a local disk?? We have seen where copying the
?installation files from a network share to the local disk resolve some
  ?issues.

  ?We have a full ARS 7.5 / ITSM 7.6 install on 64bit 2008 R2.? The install
  ?went almost too smoothly.

??Is there anyone out there using ARS 7.5.x and ITSM 7.6 on Windows 2008
