Why is Dan, or any other "non-resident" homeowner (who keeps it for use
in the summer) criticized?
Summer residents are a benefit:
As long as they don't rent out their homes in the winter, then you have
ZERO impact on schools. That's the same impact the city school taxes
have towards the overall budget.
Then again, with no additional kids coming, then you have more of a
problem, the state doesn't dump 3 times the amount of money into the
system.
