I disagree but that is my opinion.

Well that is different and I am glad you clarified that because it
sounded as like their was seniority issue at play. I'm glad that we
understand each other.

I only grumble about one thing - the redevelopment and the majority
on the council's inability/unwillingness to make Partners fulfill
its obligations.

I appreciate your perspective and I think I have responded to that
many times. Under any circumstances, things could always be better.
However, because things are somewhat better now, should not be a
reason to not demand that promises made be kept. I am very aware
that things are "relatively" better than they were. However, the
longer someone has been here the more they should want (and possibly
deserve) that these promises be kept. Don't settle for less. As a
long-time resident you deserve it. Four years is just too long to
have not started the restoration. It will not be finished for a
number of years if at all. There is no reason why the whole thing
(waterfront restoration) could not have been completed within 5-6
years at the most. Real developers would have done it in less. The
council really feels the same way, but won;t say it publicly,
although it did say it somewhat last December. Partners doesn;t have
what it takes. Believe me. If it did we would be well on our way
already. The council's job is to make sure it gets done and it
hasn't. It has not prodded Partners. Sorry, but they have to get my
complaints then. The same thing goes for the Triangle and C-8. You
just can't operate that way. At least Aaron has been marginalized -
that the council finally saw. I would be very happy to shut up if
they just came through. Eventually somebody hears, so yes, the
complaints do do some good. At least I'll try.
