If I understand your question Tom, you are trying to understand the
apparent conflict between the anti eminent domain position Jim has
taken and the use of eminent domain as the vechicle to acquire
property in the plan led by Jim. On the surface I understand the
dilema. However, Reading the quotes it is clear that Jim is not so
anti eminant domain as he is against taking property through eminent
domain againt the current property owner's wishes.

But they are fair questions and deserve a fair response. Rather
than get into another ridiculous dialog of back and forth symantics
over what Jim thinks - perhaps Jim you could articulate your
position here yourself. Here are the questions as I understand them:

What is your position regarding the use or complete suspension of
eminent domain?

If you are against using it in an involuntary situation, what is
your plan for the Springwood redevelopment regarding those who will
not be willing to sell their property?

Thanks,

Scott
